DR.AYODHYA R.K M.B.B.S.,D.P.M.,M.D.(AC)., F.I.P.S - Neuro Psychiatrist

Dr.Ayodhya Rk pursued his MBBS from Kurnool Medical College and post-graduation in Psychiatry from S.V.Medical college, Tirupathi. His quest for knowledge drove him to pursue Acupuncture Medicine from Indian Acupuncture Training & Research Institute, Jaipur. With a vision of serving the society to heal the mental health problems, he established’ Sree Manasa Psychiatric Nursing Home’ in Suryaraopet , Vijayawada. Practising as a consultant Psychiatrist since 27yrs (1992) he mastered basic tenets of human behaviour as well as various psychological problems.

As mental illnesses carry significant stigma in the society and poor awareness, Dr.Ayodhya RK made substantial & significant contributions by conducting various awareness programs. He has published numerous articles in newspapers & magazines such as ‘Mayuri’, ’Andhra Bhoomi’, ’Vaartha’, ’Andhra Prabha’, ’Vishalandhra’, ’Wonderworld’. He has delivered independent talks, interviews, Live programmes in All India Radio Station(500+ interviews), Doordarshan, Siti Channel, E-tv,TV9 & others. He also attended various Free Mental Health Awareness & Treatment Camps, has given Guest Lectures & public speeches in different organisations, schools & Colleges addressing 2lakh+ audience. He has written around 10 books in Telugu on Mental Health like ‘Manasuku Jabbu Chestey’, ‘Mano Vignana Deepika’ , Sex Psychology & others.

He took up various roles as President, Indian Psychiatric Society, Vijayawada Chapter; Cultural Committee Chairman at different levels IMA-AP State Chapter; APNA State Chapter & others. He was also nominated and served as Krishna Dt. Cable Satellite Consumer Protection Committee Member; Disaster committee Member-Airport (Gannavaram).
